2017

Valley Isle Excursions has been awarded just this past week (April 18th 2017) with one of four 10 year permits to provide cultural interpretive tours into Haleakala National Park at the volcano’s summit.

Beginning in January 2018 Valley Isle Excursions, along with Skyline Eco-Adventures, Haleakala Bike Company and Polynesian Adventures will provide quality tours into one of the most unique ecosystems in the world – Haleakala National Park. We look forward to working with these companies in the years to come to make the park even better for all visitors, no matter how they choose to get there.

After 20 years of providing quality road to Hana tours we are excited to expand our tour offerings to include sunrise, daytime, sunset and celestial tours within the park, as well as various cultural and historic tours throughout the island of Maui.

Our passion has always been about the Hawaiian culture, people and lifestyle of this beautiful island. We look forward to providing this same level of expertise and passion in our new upcoming tours. Our goal is to provide a unique Hawaiian experience to our guests by immersing them in the cultural practices inherent in this sacred volcano. We aim to entertain, inspire, welcome and awe our guests. From welcoming chants to ancient Hawaiian healing and forgiveness rituals, visitors will feel uniquely involved in the heart and soul of the culture while learning about the plants, animals and geology of one of the rarest ecosystems on earth.

Stay tuned for our upcoming tour offerings which will include makai (ocean) to mauka (mountain) journeys throughout the day with weekly and monthly “specialty” tours for families, history enthusiasts and special learning opportunities with guest speakers and presentations.

We look forward to sharing our aloha with our guests and the excitement of this new opportunity to expand our interactive and culturally important teachings that will bring the world a better understanding of the host culture and people of this amazing vacation destination.
